Rigid Sports Tapes, or Athletic Tapes, are designed to provide support and limits movement in the taped area. Designed to be non-stretchy, these tapes are able to assist in preventing injury when applied correctly. A common joint that athletes tape up is the ankle, which is vulnerable to inversion sprains in many sports.
